

Was called home to be with the Lord at the age of 62, on Wednesday, July 16, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Brenda; children, Melissa (Eric) Donovan, Matthew (Jessica) Eberly, Sherrie (Mark) Combs, Matthew (Tammy) Curtis, David (Heather) Nastally, Joseph (Lisa) Nastally, Andrew (Crystal) Nastally and Jody “Pig Farmer” Miller; eighteen grandchildren and one due in November; brother, Ivan (Tina) Eberly; special cousin, Vivian Kessler as well as numerous loving family members and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Candace and brother, Donald Eberly. Roger was born in Jackson on May 15, 1952 to Benjamin and Correne (Whitaker) Eberly. After graduating from Jackson High he enlisted in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era; then returned to Jackson and retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. He taught Computer classes at Jackson Community College and at Southern Michigan Prison. He is retired Vice-President of American Veteran’s Motorcycle Club and was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. A service honoring his life will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 1:00P.M. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8P.M. He will be laid to rest at Fifield Cemetery with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the charity organization, “Rockin’ Q Fest” questofq.com
