Ronald Alan Stevens

Of Jackson, passed away at his home on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at the age of 75. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mary (Duckett) Stevens, their children, Coleen (David) Westerhof, Kenneth Stevens, Keith (Susie) Stevens and Erin Stevens; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister, Judy Busby as well as nieces, nephews loving family members and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Gary and Dennis Stevens. Ronald was born in Coldwater, MI to Wilbur and Virginia (Campros) Stevens on December 14, 1940. After graduating from Vandercook Lake High School he enlisted in the United States Air Force. Following his honorable discharge he returned to Jackson and raised a family. He was a hardworking family man and appreciated the outdoors. During his retirement he enjoyed meeting his friends for breakfast at the Bone Island Grill. Mr. Stevens had a strong faith and attended Michigan Center Bible Church (150 Broad Street, Michigan Center 49254) where a service celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service. He will be laid to rest at Roseland Memorial Gardens at 2:00 p.m. with Military Honors. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church.
