

Ronald passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at the age of 76. He was born October 22, 1938 in Lansing, Michigan the son of Oren L. Tyler and Dorothy Dean Tyler. Ronald came to Jackson with his parents in November 1941 and has since then lived here. Ronald is survived by his brother, Richard L. Tyler and his wife, Mary of Alpine, Utah; nephews, David (Heide) Tyler, Mark (Denee) Tyler and Paul (Tracy) Tyler and niece Amy Gregory (Stuart) all of Utah; a very close cousin, Annette Bruce (Michael) of Charlotte, Michigan and special friend Margaret Cook of Jackson. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and many aunts, uncles and cousins all of Michigan. As a young man Ron, between 1952 and 1957, was very ambitious and was several times recognized by articles and pictures in the Jackson Citizen Patriot as an outstanding paperboy for the newspaper on Route 88 delivering up to 114 daily papers. Ronald was one of ten seniors and carriers for the paper, graduating from high school, whose picture with comments were “CONGRATULATED” on a full page 34 of Sunday, June 9, 1957. A service honoring him will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 11:30AM with Fr. Denis Spitzley officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:30AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Deepdale Memorial Park, 4110 Lansing Road, Lansing, MI 48917
