Rosa Mae Lee

Of Jackson, MI passed away on November 1, 2021, at the age of 90. Rosa was born on January 18, 1931, in Pelham, GA to parents Saul and Annie Griffin. She married K.T. Lee, Sr. in Thomas County, GA on December 29, 1952. Rosa was a homemaker, caring for her grandchildren and being a mother to many neighborhood children. She was a member of St. Peter Baptist Church of Mitchell County, GA and enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening, and watching westerns and soap operas. Rosa is survived by her children K.T. (Sue) Lee, Jr., William H. Lee, Annie Lee, Terry Lee, Bobby Lee, Andrew Lee, Jack (Pam) Lee, Frank Lee and daughter-in-law Shaun Lee; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; and a host of friends and relatives. She is preceded in death by her husband K.T. Lee, Sr., children Emmett R. Lee and Georgia M. Robinson; special nephew/son John A. Griffin, parents, eight sisters, and five brothers. A Going Home Service will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Bethlehem Temple Church with a family hour from 11:00 AM until time of service. Rosa will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband K.T. Lee Sr., at Woodland Cemetery.
