Of Jackson, MI passed away on December 27, 2020 at the age of 74. Russell was born in Jackson on December 4, 1946 to parents Gerald and Ruby McCabe. He married Lena for 49 years until her death 2017. Russell was a machinist at Miller Industries for 30+ years. He was a classic car guy and an avid coin collector. He also enjoyed football, watching all games for years with his family on Sundays. Russell is survived by his daughter Theresa (Anthony) Magiera and their daughter Alexandra; sons Russel McCabe Jr. and his children Carol, Acely, Gage, Devon, and Remington and grandchildren Chloee, Kenzingten, and Alexander; and John McCabe and his children Jordan, Nick and Penny; siblings Sandy (Robert) Locke and Pat (Mike) Kilburn; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Lena. Per his wishes cremation has been chosen and he will be laid to rest next to his wife at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
