Of Newaygo, Michigan passed away on Tuesday April 9, 2024 at the age of 80 under the kind and compassionate care of the staff at Henry Ford Hospice Home. She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on June 15, 1943 to Joseph and Cornelia Berger. She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Chambers
Bonus children, Amy Hines and Anna (Chris) Smith; grandchildren, Natasha (Jeremy) Jaycox, Chelsea Busdiecker and Tyler (Melanie) Smith as well as several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, loving family members and her beloved K-9 companion, Hank. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Art Berger. She enjoyed crafting and was a talented quilter. She enjoyed gifting her creations to loved ones. She and Bill enjoyed traveling the United States. She will be greatly missed. A service to honor her life will be held at Burden & Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home (1806 E Michigan Ave Jackson, Michigan 49201) on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 12:00 pm. She will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
