Ruth was a vast reader of all types of books, a walker, a crafter of many years, a gardener on her small hobby farm filled with small animals to keep her busy.
She was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Jackson, MI. She volunteered at the church for years after moving in town when her husband passed.
She lived a full life as a beloved Aunt to her vast number of nieces and nephews who looked after her.

According to Ruth’s wises, she will be cremated and a graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park at a later date.
The family would like to thank the staff at Gentiva and Summit Park for the loving care of Ruth.
