Ruth Ojeda

Passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at the age of 64. She is survived by her son Jasen (Kassie) Satterelli; special aunt, Jane Nichol; sisters, Olivia, Erma and Victoria Ojeda, Ana (Larry) Baley and Dona (Sam) Rhoades; grandchildren, DeAngelo, Mercedes, Shyanne and Patrick; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Patrick Jose Satterelli; brother, Jose; and nephew, Mark Ojeda. Ruth was born to Jose and Irene Ojeda in Mercedes TX. She was raised in Jackson then owned and operated a local beauty shop for many years. Although she considered herself a starving artist, her talent and passion took her many places. One aspiration led her to California, where she resided until 2007 and then returned to Jackson to promote local art. According to her wishes cremation has been chosen and a service honoring her life is scheduled at the funeral home on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. Family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.
