Sandra Kay Sherman

Sandra Kay Sherman, aged 82, passed away on November 7, 2025 in Jackson, Michigan. She was born January 5, 1943 in Jackson, Michigan to Jack and Clara Stickrodt. Sandra married Conrad Sherman October 28, 1980, and they had 25 years of marriage together before he passed away in 2004. She is survived by her sons Mark (Lori) Kelly and Tim (Tonya) Kelly; and by her daughter Pam Monroe; grandchildren John (Ashley) Evans, Krystal (Keith) Schuette, Brandon (Jen) Monroe, Jamie Kelly, Ben (Maddie) Kelly, Doug (Racheal) Kelly, Nick (Jess) Kelly, Trevor Saye, all of Jackson, Michigan and Nick (Annie) Wellman of California; great grandchildren Madison Schroll, Marrisa (Chase) Moul, Kenna Warder, Marshall Warder, Hayden Schuette, Hoyt Schuette, Jackson Harget, Carter Kelly, Jameson Kelly and Felix Dillon, all of Jackson, Michigan and Orion Wellman, Elise Wellman and Issaac Wellman, all of California. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Conrad, daughter Kelly Ann Kelly, sister Marion Lawson, brother Jack "Butch" Stickrodt, sister-in-law Carolyn Strickrodt, brother and sister-in-law John and Florence Zipela, and nephews Scott Strickrodt and Christopher Goldsmith. Sandra was a long time volunteer at the hospital, a "Candy Striper", and at the children's Camp International. She also enjoyed cake decorating, crafting, candy making, hunting, fishing, trap shooting, camping and long drives. She worked as a waitress at Clock Restaurant, Chicken Inn, 145 Truck Stop, and Cracker Barrell, as well as working at Ray Printing. What Sandra treasured most were her family, and her fur babies Chloe and Peyton, and her many friends.

A visitation will be held at Burden-Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home, located at 1806 East Michigan Avenue, Jackson, MI, 49202, on November 11, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The funeral service will take place at the same venue on November 12, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
