Of Napoleon, Michigan went to fly high with the angels on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the age of 51, after a long and hard battle with cancer. She was in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family and friends at the time of her passing. Shari was born in Garden City, Michigan on March 11, 1968 and attended Napoleon High School. Shari enjoyed camping in the U.P., motorcycle and horseback riding, fishing, shooting, watching NASCAR and the Detroit Tigers, spending time with her pets, collecting unusual rocks, country music and Elvis as well as spending time with her husband and children. Shari is survived by her husband, Steven Beattie, daughters, Tara (Trevor) Grimes, Heather Beattie and Hillary (Donnie) King; sons, Steven and Jesse (Ashley) Mulnix; grandchildren, Noah, Taylor and Jase; parents, Henry (Marian) Miller and Mary (Larry) Dillon; siblings and step-siblings, Kimberly Shanks-Miller, Lona Davis, Melissa Dillon-Sanchez and Shawn Dillon; nieces, Stephani Lindahl, Brittani Shanks and Kalli Butterfield; five great nieces and nephews as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and adopted children. Shari was an amazing woman who touched the lives of many others. She tried to help others in any way she could. She had a love for life and fought hard to stay here with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed. A service to honor her life will be held at Jackson Free Methodist Church - 2829 Park Dr, Jackson, MI 49203 this Saturday, November 23rd at 4 pm.
