Sharon K Ramey

Of Jackson, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 10, 2011 after a brief and courageous battle with Mesothelioma at the age of 63. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Ramey Jr. as well as her parents. She will be remembered by her daughter, Lori Meade; son, Rick Ramey; grandson, Jordyn Blossom, all of Jackson; sisters, Karen (Terry) Roberts, of Canton and Jacqueline (Bob) Good of Flushing, also her special friend and companion, Terry Metcalf, of Jackson. Sharon graduated from Northwest in 1965. She worked as a home health aide and a daycare provider in the local area. She also enjoyed road trips to Lake Michigan; loved her family, her dog, Dino. Her witty sense of humor along with her desire for the sweeter things in life will always be remembered. A service honoring her is scheduled at the funeral home on Monday, March 14, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. Family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. She will be laid to rest with her husband in Fifield Cemetery.
