Sheryl Diane Voegeli

Of Jackson, Michigan passed away on June 27, 2025, at the Henry Ford Hospice Home at the age 69. Sheryl was born on February 18, 1956, in Jackson, Michigan to parents Alton Mullins and Marie Martin. She married Terry Voegeli in 1978, and they were married for 47 years. Sheryl worked as a cashier at Polly’s Country Market for 15 years. She also worked at various other places over the years. She was also a member of Apostolic Outreach for 20 years. Sheryl did not like it when people bought her something because “she had to dust it.” She loved spending time with her family. Sheryl loved to eat and especially loved cookouts. Sheryl is survived by her husband Terry Voegeli; son Shaun Voegeli; mother Marie (Larry) Martin; siblings Mark Grimes, Danny Mullins, and Cindy Mullins; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Alton Mullins and aunt Geraldine. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Burden-Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home (1806 E. Michigan Avenue, Jackson, MI 49202). Family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Roseland Memorial Gardens (3744 Brooklyn Road, Jackson, Michigan 49203). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Apostolic Outreach (807 Longfellow Avenue, Jackson, MI 49202).
