Shirley Ann Miller

Of Jackson passed away peacefully on May 5, 2026 at the age of 92, under the compassionate care of the staff at Henry Ford Hospice and surrounded by her loving family. Shirley was born April 14, 1934 to parents Marcus and Esther (Morris) Keagle who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Frank, and siblings Floyd, James, Donald, Helen, Mary, and Norma.

Shirley married Frank in Jackson in 1956 and during their 65 years together they raised two children, Debra (Dave) Radde of Jackson and James (Shantel) Miller of Irving, TX who survive her. She is also survived by grandchildren Amber Nieman, Matt (Ashley) Nieman, Jeff (Debra) Miller, Megan (Josh) Benn and great-grandchildren Matthew Jr, Nicholas, Leah, Harper, Paisley, Gauge, Tristahn, Ashton, and Hunter. Shirley is also survived by her baby brother Chuck (Pat) Keagle who called her weekly and by two special nieces, Jennifer Bailey and Bev (Forest) Owen, who brightened her days with visits and phone calls.

Shirley loved her family fiercely and never missed a chance to brag about them or spend time with them. She loved to laugh and, in earlier years, tan in the sun to get as brown as possible. Shirley worked several years at S&H Green Stamps with co-workers who were also good friends.

Shirley was a beloved wife, mom, grandma and GG. While her passing leaves a huge hole in our hearts, we take comfort in knowing she is without pain and resting for eternity in the arms of dad and our Lord. Cremation has taken place and per her request, there will be no service at this time.
