Of Jackson, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the age of 64. He is survived by his two sons, Nick (Amy) Schilling and Brandon (Jen) Schilling; four grandchildren, Awbrie, Skyler, Selena, Landen and Shiloh on the way; siblings, Linda (Marty) Craddock, Bob (Marilyn) Schilling, John (Doris) Schilling, David (Vicki) Schilling, Dawn Dwyer and James Schilling as well as many nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. Steven was born in Jackson, Michigan on October 18, 1959 to John and Joanne Schilling, whom have preceded him in death. He attended Jackson High and then served in the United States Army. After his discharge he returned to Jackson where he raised a family and was employed at W.A. Foote Hospital. Steven was an avid sports fan; he touched the hearts of many and will be missed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. with Fr. Tim Nelson officiating. on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at St. Mary Star of the Sea (116 E. Wesley Street Jackson, 49201) The family will receive friends for a Memorial Visitation at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. followed by a Rosary prayer service at 7:00 P.M.
