

Thomas “Tom” I. Miller Jr. of Jackson Michigan, peacefully passed away on March 15, 2026, following a sudden illness. Born and raised in Canton, Ohio, he was a graduate of the University of Akron’s School of Business. Tom dedicated several years to the insurance community, earning multiple professional designations, including CPCU, CLU, and ChFC. His career led him and his family from Akron to Toledo and finally retiring in 2010 in Jackson, MI. While in retirement he volunteered his time to Junior Achievers and Toastmasters, locally.
Tom is survived by his wife, just shy of 47 years, Amy (Hague), daughter Megan Miller, son in law Kevin Miller, grandson Grayson Miller and bonus grandchildren Ella, Tanner, and Jericho Miller all of Jackson, MI. He is also survived by his sister Patricia Yarnell of Canton, OH. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas I. Miller Sr. and Donna Logan, as well as his sister Pamela Caplea all of Canton, OH.
To anyone who knew Tom, they know how much he loved his family especially his grandson Grayson. They shared a special bond that will live on long after he has gone. He will be forever missed and cherished by his family and friends, some of who, he carried from childhood.
In recognition of Tom’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
