Timothy Bernard Burden

Of Jackson,Michigan passed away peacefully at home under the care of his family and Elara Hospice at the age of 84, on Thursday, June 22, 2023. He was born on January 15, 1939, to Doris (Kimmel) Burden and Bernard Burden. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Donna (Fair) Burden, son Joseph Burden (Maggie Green), daughter Kimmel (Burden) Griwatsch (Jeff Griwatsch): two grandchildren, Russell and Saige Burden, and many nieces and nephews. Tim was a member of the Knights of Columbus (4th degree). He was a tool and die maker for Hancock, Kelsey Hayes, and General Motors. In addition, Tim began a career in real estate. In his first year as an agent, he became a million-dollar seller. He then went on to own his own real estate company, Burden Real Estate Inc. In his spare time, he loved fishing, spending time with family, going for boat rides, and general tinkering. A Funeral Mass will be held at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Parish, (606 S. Wisner Street Jackson, MI. 49203) on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. The family will receive friends for visitation at 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
