Formerly of Jackson, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Canton, MI on Friday, October 9, 2015 at the age of 51. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha (Slocum) Miller. He is survived by his father, Claude Miller; two sisters, Suzi (Charles) Walker and Jacque Doty; three nephews, Chuck (Tracy) Walker, Scott (Scott) Doty-Carothers and Brian (Carolyn) Walker; five great nieces and nephews; cousin, Robyn (Rick) Shore. Todd was born in Jackson on January 22, 1964. After graduating from Vandercook Lake High School in 1982 he went on to Eastern Michigan University, where he earned a Master’s Degree and spent his career as an athletic trainer. He enjoyed college football and playing golf. He touched the lives of many and will be missed. Cremation has taken place and a service honoring his life will be held at the Chas. J. Burden & Son funeral home on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
