Of Jackson MI passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017. She was born August 22, 1925, in Detroit, MI and was affectionately known as “Ginger.” She was a resident of Jackson, MI and former resident of The Villages, FL. She enjoyed entertaining friends, cooking, golf, and the great outdoors. She also sang at the Detroit Opera House and recorded a few albums. Ginger leaves behind her children, Sandra (Andrew) Johnson and Timothy (Karen) Casey; her four grandchildren, Amy (Peter) Harwood, Carl (Ande) Johnson, Krista (Michael) Zeig, and Kevin (Katelyn Crain) Casey; and four great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Casey; and daughter, Robbin Stuart. Cremation has taken place with no services planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Place (501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105) or Great Lakes Caring (900 Cooper St. Jackson, MI 49202).
