Of Jackson passed away on April 5, 2012 at the age of 79. Walter was born in Onondaga, MI on January 28, 1933. He worked for Good Year Tire for over 20 years. He was a member of the Moose and Eagles Lodge, loved to play cards and watching football games with family. He served our country in the Army. He is survived by his children; Diane (Tom) Duff, Linda Oehlerking, Walter (Jeanette) Satterlee, Jr., step-daughter Marlise, five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, one step-brother, Tammy Harmon, and Eloise Isac. He is preceded in death by his parents, two sons and one sister. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Michael Mason officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, April 9, 2012 from 4 – 8 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association 1701 N Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311.
