Shirley, ED, Rick, Jimmy know that WO is going to be missed greatly. He was always there for the person who needed help. My trips back to Jackson to have lunch with him and Dick Spangler and guys was always a treat. He was a person that loved life and lived it. We all are better people to have know him. Bill was a great boss and instilled a hard work ethic that is rare nowadays and took great pride in providing such a service to the Jackson community. A proud man who will sadly be missed in so many ways.

Sorry to learn of Bill's passing. He was a great guy and gave me my first job at his gas station on West Ave. he was always fair to us kids back in the 60's. I always respected Bill. RIP Bill!

I am very sorry to hear that Bill passed away.He touched our hearts and lives in many ways.Bill was a good man and a great friend. One time many years ago, I went with him to a card game in the quarry where most of us had several cocktails during the evening. When the game was over, He called a tow truck for all who needed one, to insure our safe arrival at our home. My home happened to be seventy miles west of the quarry. Another time I called him at work to get some advice on how to handle a blown rear end in my truck. He said " Scatter it on the bench Ron, you can rebuild it." He had confidence where I had none. He was right again! WOW, what a great friend. To "brother Jim",Rick, Ed, Jimmie and the rest of the family, you have all my sympathy in this tough time in life.

I met Bill when I was with the Michigan State Police, Jackson Post and over the years he always provided a 'helping hand' to many people.  My condolences and prayers to his family and friends for their and the community's loss.

Sorry to learn of Mr. Olney's passing my condolences to Shirley and his entire family. I remember well when Bill and Shirley came to my Dad's (Dick) funeral many years ago as they were childhood bud's! RIP Mr. Olney and give my Dad a hug for me!

I got to know Bill in 1963 when I sold him parts from C. E. Hamlin Co. We often went to lunch and his wife joined us. We did business with each other from that time on. I will miss him, along with many others.
