Passed away at the age of 84 on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, while under the compassionate care of the staff members at Vista Grande Villa. She will be remembered by her three children, Doug (Mary Jane) Thomas, Linda (Garry) Holton and Patricia (Robert) Kenney; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren as well as her sister, Sally Ehnis and her special friend Jerry Sanborn. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Lake, Robert Lake, Walter Miles and Charles Miles. She was born to Charles and Grace Lake in Jackson, MI on September 15, 1927. A service celebrating her life will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Family will receive friends for visitation on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Maxon cemetery.
