Born February 8, 1927 in Umago de Istria, Italy to Maria Druscovich and Natle Coslovich, she was the youngest of four children. Anita married Glenn Stone in August, 1953 in Trieste, Italy and their lifelong journey began. They travelled to America and Anita filled the role of military wife quickly. She supported many people throughout her days as a young mother. Her three children were her joy. Anita was a seamstress and made all her own clothing as well as clothes for others. She loved gardening and enjoyed eating her own produce. She was an excellent cook and was thrilled to feed everyone. Anita never missed her children's sporting events and was always their best cheerleader. She loved all sports but Tiger Woods was her favorite. She was an excellent bowler herself. Her family was her passion. She poured her love into family. She was a loving wife, mother, Nona, and best friend to many. We are sad she is not her with us but our hearts are full of joy knowing we will see her again.
She is survived by her husband of more than 66 years, Glenn; sons, Franco (Linda) Stone, Roy (Diane) Stone; daughter, Janet (Stephen) Croskrey; grandchildren, Chris (Jessi) Stone, Adam Stone, Keary Croskrey, Andrew (Tiffany) Stone, Jeremiah Croskrey, Shane Stone, Joshua Croskrey, Levi Stone and Cameron Stone; great-grandchildren, Piper, Emma, Zaryiah, Zekeial and Anthony; and many loving nieces and nephews in Canada, Australia, Alabama, Tennessee and Oklahoma. Anita was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Natalia Davey, and brothers, Ferrucio and Ettore Coslovich.
