Ms Ames was my best friends mom. She will always be reminded as the nicest southern gal I know!! She forgave me so many times as a young teen, encouraged me continually and loved me every time!!! Her laugh has never and will never be forgotten!!! Her light and love for Jesus was seen everywhere!! She was an honest lady with a forgiving heart and forgiving spirit!! She had to love me or me and Andrea wldnt have been as close as we were. Just one of those special southern Angels you will never meet again!! I love you dearly Ms Ames and will never forget you!!! I love you and will never forget you!! You are one in a million and love u to this day!!

I have so mnay beautiful memories of Betty. When Jeff and I first married, we moved to Jacksonville Beach. Betty and Dick opened their home and hearts to us, offered friendship and support. It was so nice knowing they were close.
Throughout the years, when she would visit NC, it was always so fun to see her and catch up. Betty was kind, beautifully honest and loyal. Her family was her pride and joy. She found joy in simple things, and never seemed to be caught up in the material life. Betty’s compass was directed at living in a way that exuded love, sincerity and integrity.
Richard and Andrea, I am so sorry for your loss and the loss of not only a parent, but grandparent to your children. You both were very caring and supporting when she needed you, and you did a great job!
