She was born in DuBois, PA on December 18, 1927. Betty graduated from Dubois High
School and worked in the secretarial field for many years.
She was married to Max in June of 1951 and began her adventure to England and
Scotland while Max was in the Air Force. She met so many wonderful lifelong friends
while there and enjoyed traveling through the beautiful countryside.
Betty had a passion for crafts and needlework. She made many beautiful framed
pieces, all of which are being enjoyed by family members. While recovering from hip
replacement surgery, Betty completed one of her masterpieces for Max, the B-17 Flying
Fortress, a WWII era plane. Another masterpiece was a hand knit bedspread, which
she loved to talk about. It was quite an accomplishment!
Betty is survived by her son Robert Curry (Donna), her daughter Carla Agee (Jim), her
beloved grandchildren Shana Curry, Michelle Agee, and Michael Agee, several nieces,
nephews and lifelong friends.
