Charlie McCants Wise, Jr. of Jacksonville Beach, FL passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024. He was born in Charlotte, NC on October 10, 1959. Charlie graduated high school from Dunan U. Fletcher, and went on to earn his Associates Degree from FCCJ. He started his career in trucking and logistics industry at the age of 16 and remained in that industry until he retired.
Charlie was a loving and devoted father and grandfather. He was la loyal friend with an incredibly generous heart. In his younger years, Charlie loved to surf and would go out and catch waves whenever he had the chance. He always loved sports and anything outdoors, especially fishing. He took pride in coaching his son and his friends when they were growing up. He supported the Jaguars and was a huge Gators Fan.
Charlie is survived by his children, Amanda Wise, megan Clements (John), and Charlie Wise, III; and grandchildren, Vivienne, Jack, Harrison and Juliette.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Mavi Waterfront Bar and Grill, 2309 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250.
