It is with great sadness the family of Chris Stern announce his passing on August, 25, 2018. Chris was born on August 18, 1965 and although he left at a young age of 53, he will be missed as he eternally enters into the Kingdom of God.
A native of Utica, NY; Chris served his country for many years having served in the United States Navy and achieving the rank of Chief Warrant Officer Four until he retired in 2012. Since retiring from the U.S. Armed Forces, Chris worked as a Port Engineer while making Jacksonville, FL his home.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Noriko, and his daughter Brittany Breault. Chris is also survived by his parents, Donald and Joanne Stern, sister Anne Marleau and brother Terry Stern.
A Celebration of Chris’ life will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, August 31, 2018 at St. Peter’s Mission Church located at 960 Girvin Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32225. Officiating the memorial services will be Father Houle.
