With a 35+ year career in Publix Supermarkets, Colin was a hardworking, career driven individual. His love for vintage cars brought a bright light into his world and the world of his family. The large community of people that gravitated towards Colin due to an infectious laugh and bright personality made his many years of retirement enjoyable.
Colin is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carolyn Slocum, their son, Matthew Slocum, and their three grandchildren Davie Slocum, Alan Hardesty, and Jake Slocum.
In place of a service the family asks for contributions to be donated to the Florida Transplant organization. Colin was blessed with 20+ years of life due to the miracle of kidney transplantation and the family would like to bless others with such a gift.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Colin's memory may be made.
