Dana Mark Crews, 71, passed away after a six year battle with Alzheimer's. He passed peacefully at his home. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Teresa; son, Justin; daughter, Magen; and two wonderful sons he called his own,Aaron (PeeWee) Johnson and Scott Winckler. Dana is a native of Jacksonville, growing up in San Marco, graduating from Wolfson in 1970 then attending college in Boca Raton, FL. He enlisted in the Air Force where he was a weatherman in Point Barrow, AK. He was an avid surfer and musician. He loved playing his guitar and played music in Jacksonville and the surrounding area for over 40 years with bands like: Second Helping, Changes and the Over-the-Hill Gang. Dana was a wonderful man who will be truly missed by so many.
A celebration of life service will be held at Atlantic Coast Marine, Atlantic Blvd., on March 23, 2024 at 6:00pm. Please come and enjoy hearing some of Dana's music.
