Dennis S. Moyer

Dennis (Denny) Moyer, 83, of Neptune Beach, FL, passed away on July 6, 20206, leaving his family and friends to mourn his loss. He was born in Norristown, PA on September 20, 1942. Denny graduated from West Chester Joint Senior High School He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was an avid member of the American Legion Post 316 for many years where he served on the board for some of that time. Denny retired from Deluxe Check Printers and finished his working career with Surfside Pools & Spa of Jacksonville Beach. He had a passion for golf, sports & trivia. He completed the crossword puzzle of the newspaper daily and enjoyed visits from his family. Survivors include his children, Denise (Dave) Nefe of Colfax, NC; Jill (Aaron) McBride of Jax Beach, FL, and Kevin (Elaina) Moyer of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Jessica, Avery, Harley, Nicholas, Trevor, Katie, Lauren, Logan, Lexie, Luke and Teddy Roosevelt; and brother, Donald (Judy) Moyer of Beaumont, CA. Denny was preceded in death by his brothers, Dave, Bruce and Barry; and sister Shirley Mason. Services will be held at 10 AM, Monday, July 27, 2026 at the Jacksonville National Cemetery with a celebration to held immediately following at the American Legion Post 316at 11:30 am.
