Donald E. Hodapp, 64, passed away July 3, 2011. He was a longtime resident of Jacksonville Beach. Donald worked for Smurfit-Stone for over 20 years as an electrician supervisor. Golf was his passion, and he was a member of the Men’s Association at Deerfield Lakes Golf Club. Donald honorably served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Deborah; daughter, Mary C. Brown (Lavaughn); son, Joseph E. Hodapp; adopted daughters, Jennifer Harvey and Kattie Loqui (Michael); 3 sisters, Marrilee Moquin, Kim Warner, and Debbie Hefferan; and 7 grandchildren, Desiree, Destinee, Lavaughn, Jr., Tyra, Joseph, Mateusz, and KeeLee.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011, at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
