Donald is survived by his children Kent Andrew Zoller and wife Jean of Seminole, Florida, Richard Roy Zoller and wife Stephanie of Solon, Ohio and Mark Alan Zoller and wife Judy of Saint Augustine Beach, Florida. Additionally, he is survived by seven grandchildren (Brian, Jennifer, Lauren, Steven, Kevin, Nicholas and Kaitlynn), three great-grandchildren (Derek, Galiana and Rosemary) and a special cousin, Gladys (age 91), with whom he shared wonderful laughs and conversations in his later years. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of more than 62 years, Elizabeth Pepoy Zoller, his parents Roy and Mae Zoller and his three siblings, Ruth Bouck, Glenn Zoller and Russell Zoller.
Donald Zoller was born on November 24, 1919, in Cleveland, Ohio. His career started in his early teens and included service in the Navy during World War II. He was known as a hard worker who held numerous different positions, most notably as a District Manager for Kentucky Central Life Insurance Company. His children remember him for setting and expecting only the best in pursuing their goals.
Donald made a new friend anywhere he went. He was a witty man who loved to talk and was passionate about taking long hikes and sharing the stories of his colorful life.
A funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, at Beaches Chapel by Hardage-Giddens (1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, Florida, 32250) with a reception to follow. Dr. Robert E. May, M. Div., D.D., will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Don's life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Dept. 41831, P. O.
