Born in Jacksonville on 1-3-1939, Edward graduated from Fletcher High. On 3-9-2011, he married Jeanette Phillips, and was married for 15 years. Edward had a career working with JEA at one of their power plants.
He had a passion for traveling, family, dancing, and the Lord.
Edward is preceded in death by his wife Sandra L. Shore, his daughter Deborah L. Shore, his son Lewis Fay Shore, and his brothers Rickey Shore and Peter Shore.
He is survived by his children Thomas L. (Pamela) Shore, Edward J. Shore, Gill (Colleen) Phillips, Eddie (Nicole) Phillips, Mike (Caroline) Phillips, and daughter-in-law Laurie Shore; his grandchildren Kayleigh, Juliet, Chance, Alyssa, Carly, Dalton, Tristan, Dillon, and Leianna; his great-grandchildren Harrison, Bennett, and Vincenzo; his niece Lisa, and his dear friend Shannon.
