He was born in Mendez, Cavite, Republic of Philippines on January 9,
1938. Eudocio Perena Aure graduated from high school in the Philippines.
He was married to Dafrosa Aure on January 31, 1969.
Eudocio had a career in the United States Coast Guard for 20 years until his retirement. He was a member of St. John 's catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus; he had a passion for fishing, gardening, watching tennis/basketball, cutting hair, going to church and bowling.
Eudocio was preceded in death by his son, Edwin Aure on April 29, 2026. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Dafrosa Aure. Children: Amelia Shiver (Scott), Liza Maikui (Jason) and Alan Aure. Grandchildren, Delaney Bottoms and Gianne Aure. Great-grandchildren: Evelyn, Nora and Freya Bottoms; Isaiah and Elijah Duberceau.
Visitation with the family will be November 11, 2026 beginning at 4:00pm- 8:00pm at Beaches Chapel by Hardage-Giddens, 1701 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am, on Thursday November 12, 2026, in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2400 Mayport Road, Jacksonville, FL 32233.
Following the reception at church, we will travel in procession to Jacksonville National Cemetery for committal services.
