ADD A MEMORY
Liam, Sunshine, Jose and Hunter

December 3, 2019

Evan, Liam and Sunshine were the best of friends - three peas in a pod. We've never seen kids so deeply connected to one another. From holidays and birthdays to hanging out and sleepovers, it was such a beautiful thing to see them be able to truly be themselves together.

Our hearts are broken, and yet, we feel so honored to have known and loved Evan as if he were our own. He brought so much joy to our lives..."Miss Hunter," "Mr. Jose," chicken nuggets, Pokemon, competitive Easter egg hunting, picnic by the river, trick-or-treating, teaching Liam how to fold his blanket, making videos, secret singing, fake showers (we were on to you, kid), and so much more. One of the most touching moments was when Evan read to Liam the birthday card he made for him. He made sure that Liam knew they were best friends forever. It was an emotional moment for us grown-ups.

We will never forget how greatly Evan touched our lives. He was a beautiful, gracious soul. Thank you for sharing him with us. We will always be family.

Christy:

My heart breaks for you - I have followed you on facebook for many years & ALWAYS the subject was EVAN. The place that the two of you were visiting; what was happening that day with EVAN. You & EVAN were EVERYTHING to each other. You can be proud to have raised a balanced, well adjusted, KIND & CARING SOUL. Many people do not have the character to instill this in a child - you did it better than anyone I have ever seen. The part that you posted notifying the world that EVAN was gone, " My life, my love, my best friend, my body, my child, my everything", says it ALL. I am so, so sorry for your loss. My father used to tell me, "Life is not fair". EVAN passing at such a young age, is COMPLETELY not fair to anyone & especially you. It is hard to reason why an occurence like this would happen & there is no reasoning it. My thoughts & prayers are with you. Be proud of the WONDERFUL mother you were to EVAN & what a BEAUTIFUL soul he is. Much love & sorrow - Debra MANOS

Sweet Evan,

You were most definitely one of the sweetest, kindest people I have ever met. Even though we did not know each other well, your love for everyone was so very apparent. I believe you touched everyone who ever had the privilege of being around you. I don't know why God chose this moment to take you home, but I think we are all better off for the 10 years that you were here. Some day we will see you again, until then we will cherish the memories that we have.

Love,
Aunt Sandy

I never got to know Evan like I would have liked. But I do know that he was a kind, loving , and very adventurous young man. He was always smiling and goofing around. I loved watching all the adventures that you had taken him on. He lived a very full life for the short time he was here. You made sure he was always having fun. He will always be loved and missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Evan in small group at Chets Creek Elementary. He was a kind boy who was very polite and eager to learn. I loved his enthusiasm and the stories he shared! My heart felt condolences goes out to his family!

Evan,

You were absolutely the sweetest, kindest, best sense of humor and most intelligent young man. The memories I will treasure together are: weddings, Birthdays, lunch date, swimming in Ocean, your visits to Georgia (and eating, what we all do best!), you referred to Nikki as NuNu (only her immediate family call her that) your love of Pokémon and Fortnite. Your absolute love for animals made our hearts sooo happy. The funniest memory was us using “unintentional” and “inappropriate “ language at times, or maybe most the the time, but just so you know, your Mother taught us all those words (LOL). You are truly missed and I’m proud to know you are watching over your family and friends. You will forever be missed. Rest Easy, Evan. Until we meet again. ❤️😢❤️😢

Evan,
The first time I met you was when we went to Disney world to see you guys and I remember racing you down the stair to see who could get to the pool first and you called me Aunt Marcy for the first time. All the memories I have of you are the best even though some of them were just little things you did or said they will always be with me. I’ll miss you and all your goofyness. You could always brighten up the room with a smile. I love you buddy.
