Fayvette Clara "Faye" Randall

Fayvette (Faye) Clara Randall of Ponte Vedra passed away Sept. 4, 2010 at Beaches Baptist Hospital with her family and friends by her side. She was born in Jacksonville, FL on Sept. 29, 1927, the daughter of George W. Lotz, Sr., and Beatrice M. Lotz. Faye graduated from Robert E. Lee High school and was employed for many years by J. Frank Norris Insurance Agency working in the Woodcock Building in Jacksonville. She retired from CSX, Corp. in 1987. Faye and her husband Theodore L. Randall loved to travel and entertain family and friends in their Guana Lake home. After Theo’s death, Faye moved to her home in L’Atrium in Ponte Vedra where she was a member of Our Lady Star-of-the-Sea Catholic Church. Faye was preceded in death by her husband, mother and father, sisters, Merle L. Switzer and Beatrice C Prim and brother George L. Lotz, Jr. Survivors include her step-daughter, Toni (Gary) Reichow and family; step-son, Teddy (Lee) Randall and family; sister, Margaret R. Lotz; brother, Harvey W. Lotz; nephew, George W. Lotz III; nieces, Nancy Streetman, Susan O’Dell, Fayvette Switzer, Annette Switzer, Peggy (Graziano) Fruzzetti and Merle Watson; special friends, Janice Bower, Drewnella Davis, Holly Wise, Quannee Wise and Stan Buie. The family wishes to thank Drs. Blatt and Fralicker and their staff for their compassionate care. The Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday (TODAY) at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 121 Duval St., Jax, FL. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Evergreen Cemetery following the church service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to Community Hospice or the Humane Society.
