Gloria C. Wilson, 88, of Jacksonville Beach, FL, passed away May 9, 2016. She was born in Buffalo, NY on July 14, 1927 and was married to Kenneth H. Wilson on August 23, 1950. Mrs. Wilson served in the United States Navy from June 6, 1949 to February 2, 1951. She served at the Pensacola Naval Station as a TE3. She is survived by her children, Karen Verna (James), Barbara Brooks (Butch), Fred Wilson (Tina) and Helen Curl (David); 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 13th in the Chapel of HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach with Fr. William Kelly presiding. Mrs. Wilson will be laid to rest with military honors at Jacksonville National Cemetery. For those who prefer, memorial contributions may be made to Haven Hospice.
