Harold A. Booth, Jr. “Jack”, 86, passed away September 27, 2010. Jack was born in historical Pablo Beach, Florida, now known as Jacksonville Beach where he lived his entire life. He was a WWII veteran having proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He was an avid collector of all things Betty Boop and will be remembered as a kind-hearted and generous man. Preceded in death by his adoring mother, to whom he was very close, Lolita B. Gaskins, he is survived by his step-sister, Marion Davis; dear friends, Michael Carpenter and family and Charlene Mayo and family; and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 12 noon until 2 pm Wednesday, Sept. 29th at HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, FL. Graveside services will immediately follow at 2 pm at H. Warren Smith Cemetery.
