Janet L. Altice Hudson was born on November 19, 1935 in Bucyrus, Ohio and passed away on May 9, 2025. She was a longtime resident of Jacksonville Beach. She was predeceased by her husband William “Bill” Hudson, brothers Robert Turner, Donald Turner, daughter Debbie Dunn, and son Michael Altice. She is survived by her brother Jerry Turner, her children Linda Welch, Tom Altice, Kathy Beatty, and Bonnie Altice. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Janet worked at several jobs in Jacksonville Beach including Nick’s Pizza, Pantry Pride, and Ellen’s kitchen. In her later years, Janet cared for senior citizens.
Janet’s passions were dancing, cooking, traveling, and playing Mexican train, but her greatest passion was gathering with friends and family.
A visitation for Janet will be held Friday, May 16, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Beaches Chapel by Hardage-Giddens, 1701 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250; followed by graveside services at Beaches Memorial Park, 1500 Main Street, Atlantic Beach, FL .
