Jeannine B. Loomis, 85, passed away October 11, 2013 in Jacksonville Beach, FL. Born in France, she worked as model during her younger years under the tutelage of Madame Elsa Schiaparelli. She and her husband were residents Atlantic Beach, FL for over 40 years and she retired from the State of Florida, HRS Dept. Among her other talents, Jeannine was an exceptional artist using oil as her main medium.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Frederick Loomis and extended family in France. A celebration of her life will be held 11:00 am. Thursday, Oct. 16th in the Chapel of HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, FL. Fr. William A. Kelly will preside. As Jeannine was an avid lover of animals, especially cats, in lieu of flowers please make a donation to your local Humane Society in her memory.
