Jill Meredith Simone

Jill Meredith Simone, of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, passed away March 20, 2023. A Jacksonville native and longtime resident, she attended local schools and received her degree in Business Administration from the University of North Florida. Jill had a career in Human Resources but was most proud of being a devoted mother to her children. She had a passion for tennis, animals, family, wellness and blue water. Jill was an supporter of the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (SWT) which operates the world’s most successful orphan elephant rehabilitation program.

Jill Simone was preceded in death by her infant sons, Michael and Matthew Simone and is survived by her devoted husband of 24 years, Michael Simone; children, Jake Simone and Katherine Simone; mother, Cynthia Luke (Joseph); father, David Sundby (Mary Jane); siblings, Dawn Weathers (Robert), Bryant Luke (Adrianna) and Kristen Cleary (Dan). She also leaves behind her mother-in-law, Carol Simone; father-in-law, Al Simone; brother-in-law, Alan Simone (Lisa) and many other extended family members and friends.

A service to celebrate the extraordinary life of Jill Meredith Simone will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, March 28, at Christ Church, 400 San Juan Drive, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082.

Reception follow at the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club.
