

John Brennan Seelie, 28 years of age, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015. Brennan is survived by his parents, Beth and Michael Seelie, of Atlantic Beach, his brothers, Christopher and Garrett, his grandparents are John and Bonnie Smola of Monona, Iowa and many loving nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. His grandparents Todd and Helen Seelie predeceased him.
Brennan was passionate about his job as a Registered Nurse at Beaches Baptist Hospital. He was an outstanding outdoorsman enjoying fishing, sports diving and spear fishing. He was a gifted musician and talented songwriter playing the bluegrass mandolin. He was a capable potter and talented chef. Brennan shared his love of life with everyone he met. He was an amazing friend to many and was cherished by all who knew him.
Brennan had a passion for animals and leaves behind his beloved dog, Bella. Brennan had a love of life and he shared his enthusiasm with everyone. He was an amazing friend to many and was cherished by all who knew him. He was a talented musician, playing the bluegrass mandolin. He had recently developed a deep love of spear fishing.
There will be a celebration of Brennan’s life on Tuesday evening, Dec. 1st, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church in Ponte Vedra Beach.
