LCDR Karel E. Yedlicka, age 89, passed away January 5, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy and survived by son, Karel Yedlicka, Jr. (Kathy), daughter Cindy Cox (David), grandchildren Karel III, Dylan and Spencer, and 3 great-grandchildren.
Karel retired as Lieutenant Commander from the US Navy in 1965 and had an extensive teaching career at US Naval Academy, Duval County Schools, FCCJ and Jones College. Services will be held at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, Jacksonville Beach, 11am Saturday, January 18, 2014.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church.
