On April 19, 2021, Lillian Strode,79, went home to our heavenly Father where she is reunited with her beloved son, Nicholas Partlow. She was born in Carbon Hill, Alabama and moved to the Beaches in 1968 where she was employed as a civilian for the US Navy until retiring in 1992. Lil enjoyed traveling with her husband across the country and setting sail on many Cruises. She was strong in her faith and was a member of The Church of Eleven22.
She is preceded by her 2 sisters, Janice Franks and Sandra Taylor and her brothers Clarence, Hugh and Charles Nicolas.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 35 years, Del Strode, her brothers John and Joseph Nicholas, 3 daughters by marriage Kim Bey, Kris Siegmundt and Kelly Fink, 2 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, numerous nieces and nephews and many lifelong friends.
Services will be held on April 29, 2021 at Noon at the Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home located at 1701 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville Beach.
