Linda Boynton Stengl, 67, went to be with Jesus April 6, 2011. She was born in Massachusetts, and had been a resident of Jacksonville for the past 17 years. She was a member of Neptune Baptist Church.
Survivors include her loving husband of 32 years, Gary Stengl; daughter, Wendy Padgett (Donnie); son, David Holcombe (Ginger) of Cary, NC; sister, Cindy Credille (Charles) of Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren, Jacob Johnson, Charlotte Holcombe, and Jesse Holcombe; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011, following a visitation period starting at 9:30 a.m. at Neptune Baptist Church. Interment will follow in H. Warren Smith Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Neptune Baptist Church or the Gideons Society.
