Mary C. Sorrell, 75, of Neptune Beach, passed away March 19, 2023. She was born in Portsmouth, VA on October 13, 1947. Mary graduated from the University of North Florida and received her JD Juris Doctor and the Order of COIF from the University of Florida. She worked as an attorney for Surface Technologies Corporation from1993 until her recent retirement. Mary had a passion for the arts, antiques and sports. Preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Sorrell DeVol, she is survived by her brother, James Sorrell of Jacksonville Beach.
The funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am, Wednesday, April 12th at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2400 Mayport Rd., Atlantic Beach, FL. Inurnment will follow at Lee Kirkland Cemetery at 2pm.
