

Miranda Elizabeth Witkowski (Judd) passed away unexpectedly on August 16, 2017. She was born on November 6, 1978 in Jacksonville, FL to Lane Judd and Judi Judd. Miranda graduated from N. B. Forest High School in 1997 where she met many lifelong friends (Casey, Nikki and Trisha to name a few). Miranda was vivacious with a magnetic, independent personality who loved Netflix, scary movies and English sitcoms. She called Barbara, Juliette, and Little Miranda amongst her closest of friends.
Miranda worked as a professional nanny for many years and was affectionately known as "Nani" and "Big Miranda". She dearly loved "her babies" trusted in her care and the families she served so faithfully. Her families adored her, and she maintained close relationships with the families and the children into adulthood. Above all, Miranda treasured her daughter, Tori, and embraced each day with dedication, courage, strength, and selfless devotion.
Miranda was predeceased by her father, Lane Judd; maternal grandparents, Virgil and Peggy Gatlin; uncle, Scott Judd; and cousin Christopher Platz. Miranda is survived by her daughter, Victoria ("Tori") Elizabeth Witkowski, who she loved with all her heart; mother, Judi Judd; sister, Jessica (Brennan) Perkins; nephews, Jackson Farmer and Tristan Perkins all of Jacksonville, FL; aunt, Ann White of CA; aunt, Deborah Day (Randy) of TN; uncle, Mike Gatlin of TX; uncle, Mitch Judd (Kathy) of TX; paternal grandparents, Belle Baker of FL and Lawrence (Carol) Judd of AZ as well as great aunt Andree (Frank) Meyers of NY and many loving cousins and family.
Miranda is deeply loved and greatly missed by her family and friends. Our family is so thankful and appreciative for your prayers and outpouring of love, the sharing of memories, and the encouraging words expressing how Miranda has touched so many lives. A celebration of Miranda's life will be held at 3 o'clock on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at The Church at Argyle, 6823 Argyle Forest Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida 32244 (casual attire).
