Morgan Mickey Caldwell Hutto III, 68, resident of Jacksonville Beach, FL, passed away on November 15th, 2012 from a long battle with cancer. He was a devoted family man, extraordinary Father, wonderful Brother and Son. Family meant everything to Mickey. He was born in St. Petersburg, FL on September 21, 1944, the Son of Morgan Caldwell Jr. and Ruth Hutto. Mickey graduated from Mainland High School in Daytona Beach FL. He then pursued an undergraduate degree in Industrial Management from Georgia Tech and continued on to achieve a Master Degree in Business Administration from Georgia State. He spent his working career mostly in Jacksonville Beach, FL working as an Accountant. He enjoyed gardening and sharing the fruits of his labor with friends. For more than 20 years Mickey refereed high school football in Duval and Volusia counties. He wrestled and played baseball in college. Mickey was a member of the Knights of Columbus, playing on their softball team and continuing to play softball for many years in Jacksonville Beach. Very active in United States Lifesaving Association, he served many years as the South Atlantic Lifesaving Association Treasurer (SALA), participating in meetings, coordinating competitions and traveling to USLA nationwide events. He was survived by Marjorie Jane (the love of his life and mother of his children) of Holly Hill, FL; His Son Morgan Caldwell Hutto IV of Jacksonville, FL and Beloved Daughter Amanda Jean Hutto of Bunnell, FL; two Brothers, Mike Hutto (Paulette) of Jacksonville, FL, Patrick (Jill) Hutto of Ponte Vedra, FL and sister Bonne (Dan) Haddock of Panama City, FL. He was preceded in death by his Father, Morgan Caldwell Hutto Jr. and Mother, Ruth O'Callaghan Hutto. Memorial service will be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Jacksonville Beach on Monday November 19th, 2012 at 11am celebration of life to follow at St. Paul's reception hall.
