

Syracuse, NY. Naomi’s parents, Sam and Florence Davis and brother Russell
predeceased her.
She worked for the U.S. Navy in Washington, D.C. for 17
years.
After marriage to Robert McIntosh in 1954 she joined him in
C.I.A. work which took them all over the world. After retirement they moved to
Jacksonville Beach, FL.
She was a devout Christian and member of Beaches Methodist Church. Also, Naomi
was an active member of the Magnolia Garden Circle, acting as secretary and Chaplain for many years,
being honored with a life membership award.
Naomi loved life, family and all that went with it. Two things she adored doing were working in the Soup
Kitchen with George Garcia and delivering Meals on Wheels.
She is survived by her cousin, Jan Taylor and husband Norm. They
have been caring for her the past eleven years. Care was also
provided by their daughter, Cindy Shelton and husband David. She is also survived by her cousin, Debra Kendrick
and husband Glenn, as well as a niece and nephews on the West Coast.
Community Hospice of Jacksonville was so outstanding in their
care for Naomi. Some of the wonderful staff included Jeanette
Boone, plus Nancy, Karen, Kim, Mike and others.
Memorials may be sent to Community Hospice of N.E. Florida, 4266 Sunbeam
Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257 in honor of Naomi McIntosh.
Services will held at Hardage-Giddens, Beaches Chapel, 1701
Beach Blvd. on Sunday, July 16th at 2:00 p.m. Officiated by
Pastor and friend Chaplain Mike Campbell and Rev. Carmen Johns.
