Norma was born Norma Louise Hinshaw on September 13, 1929, in Lynn, Indiana, to Roy and Luella Hinshaw. She graduated from Lynn High School and went on to attend Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana.
In March 1950, Norma married Dale Beiser, and together they began their life in Hamilton, Ohio. Over the years, they made their home in several communities, including Arlington Heights, Illinois, and Atlanta, Georgia, where Norma enjoyed a career in retail management with Lord & Taylor.
Later in life, Norma and Dale moved to Jacksonville, Florida, where they enjoyed many years together. Norma loved playing golf and traveling the world with Dale. They were longtime members of Hidden Hills and Eagle Harbor Country Clubs, where Norma made many wonderful memories—including achieving a hole-in-one.
Above all, Norma treasured her family. She and Dale raised two children and were blessed with four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Sheri Wright, and her husband, Dan; her son, Dave Beiser, and his wife, Amy; granddaughters Kaitlin and Lauren Beiser; grandsons Bradley Davis (Jenny) and Colin Davis (Carynne); and great-grandchildren Hunter Davis, Dominic Davis, and Cora Davis, along with many other family members and dear friends.
The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Community Hospice & Palliative Care for the genuine care, compassion, and concern they showed Norma and her family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Norma’s name to Community Hospice & Palliative Care.
Memorial services for Norma Beiser will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 23, 2026, at Beaches Chapel by Hardage-Giddens, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida, with Rev. Tim McDaniel officiating. Inurnment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
