It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the sudden passing of our precious Oliver Reid Borkoski, who left this world at his home, surrounded by love on April 4, 2026. On the cusp of Easter Sunday, Oliver was received into the arms of Jesus, where he now rests in perfect peace.
Oliver was a deeply cherished little boy whose light touched everyone who knew him, even in his short time here. He brought so much joy into the world with his bright blue eyes, sweet laughter, and gentle, curious spirit.
He found happiness in the simplest and most meaningful moments—enjoying his favorites- Mickey Mouse, french fries and spending time outside, where he seemed most at peace.
Though his time here was brief, it was filled with love, laughter, and beautiful experiences. Oliver visited special places like Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure, outings to the beach, the zoo, the movies, and many parks. In his short time with us, he experienced more joy and adventure than most could in a lifetime.
One of his most treasured recent memories was seeing his very first movie with his family, The Super Mario Bros. 2 movie. He was captivated by the bright colors and cheerful music, laughing the entire time and never shedding a single tear. That moment perfectly captured who Oliver was—full of light, joy, and wonder.
Oliver is lovingly survived by his devoted mother and father, Kelsie and Kohl, his three siblings, Grace, Arthur and Lucy, his grandparents, Mimi (Amy), Nana (Cathie), Pappy (Harry), Papa (Roy) and great Grandma (Janice and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever carry him in their hearts. He shared a special bond with his Aunt Lily, who spent a cherished Friday before his passing with him—time that will be remembered always. He will also be deeply missed by his beloved furry pals, Lyla, Loki, Hermione and Trixie.
Though his time here was far too short, the love Oliver gave and the happiness he shared will remain in the hearts of his family forever. He will always be remembered for the smiles he brought, the laughter he shared, and the love that surrounded him every day.
